If you’re anything like me, you can’t help noticing how Instagram has taken the center stage amongst digital platforms over these past few years. From a personal perspective, Instagram has taken over my life. From a professional standpoint, it is maybe even more important for the brands I manage.
At least that’s what we think.
The reality might look a lot different. Instagram continues to regularly roll out new features. More and more people are on Instagram than ever before. Brands try to exploit every advantage they can find in order to capture valuable attention.
But I’m not satisfied with gut feelings, I want to know more. I want to understand from a user perspective how people use Instagram in 2019 and what their relationships to brands are on the platform.
I know that I’m not alone.
So instead of asking around for reports, the best thing to do is conduct original research into these questions to find out for ourselves.
I have put together this quick Brands x Instagram survey that I am asking everyone who would like to participate in. You do not have to work with Instagram professionally, any one who uses Instagram on a personal level is welcome. The goal is to parse out exactly how people use Instagram for themselves, and how they interact with brands.
It takes less than 3 minutes. Click here to take the survey.
Of course any sort of statistical research needs to have a large enough base of answers in order to extrapolate any useful insights, so please share this survey with your networks so I can compile real data to help all of us better understand the stakes and opportunities in 2019.
I will share the results at the end of April.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to get in touch.
Thank you very much for your help!
