I was tasked with identifying the KPIs that can be used to measure performance on digital platforms – which is particularly hard when these platforms are constantly changing and evolving their algorithms.
In order to measure performance over time – and to be able to compare performance on social platforms with other media – you need to measure in absolutes. The surprising answer is that the old school media KPIs like CPM and CPA the best way to go.
